Throughout 2020, brands have adjusted their income sheets as e-commerce plays a larger role in their revenue stream. But many question how long the direct-to-consumer trend will continue. Meanwhile, the battle between Walmart and Amazon heats up but it is possible that a startup could displace them. Our experts will walk us through what they see as the future of e-commerce.

Kimberly Tobman
As a founding team member of TechStyle, Kimberly Tobman has been in the LA startup and ecommerce business for over 15 years. She helped launch JustFab and Fabletics and was the founding General Manager of Savage X Fenty. Most recently, Kimberly was the Chief Revenue Officer of the online flower business The Bouqs’ followed by the first President of SKIMS. Named an LA BrandStar by AdWeek Magazine in 2019, Kimberly is passionate about building brands’ digital footprint and scaling ecommerce brands in their early stages.

Traci Inglis
Traci Inglis is a direct-to-consumer e-commerce expert, author, and board advisor and former President & CMO at RTW Retailwinds and Techstyle Fashion Group. She is a digital-grounded omni-retail leader with proven success in leveraging data, customer feedback, and brand-building creative to drive strategies that move the needle for brands. Featured on E! News Fashion Report and Project Runway, in addition to keynoting several industry conferences, Traci’s work has been touted in Wall Street Journal, Women’s Wear Daily, and many more outlets.

About Your Host, Tom Henkenius: Tom is an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist, director of FIDM’s Bachelor of Arts degree in digital marketing and principal partner at Thunder Communications, a content production company. Tom spent 10 years as a television news journalist after graduating from USC Annenberg. Tom holds a Master's of Science from USC's Iovine and Young Academy in Integrated Design, Business and Technology.
