Asia Society Hong Kong Centre is ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ญ๐ฏ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ. The Former Explosives Magazine Compound in Admiralty is Hong Kong's largest remaining British military site, built in the mid-19th century for making and storing explosives. By the 1980s, the site was no longer in use. In 2005, Asia Society Hong Kong Center started the work to revitalize the site's four historical buildings.
Thanks to generous support from charities and individuals, the 1.3-hectare heritage site is now a dynamic educational complex. Everything here has been carefully planned to preserve the flora, fauna, and historical essence. Award-winning Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects transformed the site into a cultural, artistic, and intellectual hub.
