A comparison between Pakistan International Airlines flight 661 and United Airlines flight 1175. Both experienced an engine failure that severely affected the performance of the airplane. One airplane crashed. The other didn’t. What made the difference?

Update: After this video had been recorded, Japan Airlines has announced that they will retire their Boeing 777-200 with PW4000 engines. This follows two incidents similar to UAL1175: JAL904 in December 2020 and UAL328 in Feburay 2021.
