“I am not sure whether you would call this scratch build or bashed, On30 Argent Lumber Co narrow gauge 2-6-2 logging engine. I did a Zoom on the building of this engine on New Tracks Modeling; youtube.com/watch?v=OXT1JtSQS4Y&t=235s . This is the fifth steam engine and second rail buses of mine that I have installed Blunami in, plus two for a club member. I find them a simple install, pulling the motherboard and wiring them directly. Six or seven wires, depending on the lighting, and two for the speaker. The real benefit is programming with your phone in plain English without a programming track or referring to CVs. Because I am not doing diesel era the amount of options for all the different steam sounds, bells, and whistles with different speakers allows me to customize the sound to the character of each locomotive.
On a different note, I met George earlier this year at Zitnick Trains in Florida, where he helped me with programming some of my engines.“-David M.
