Michael Strickland case update, September 1st, 2020. The Oregon Supreme Court has opted to decline clarifying the conflicting case laws regarding the mindset and knowledge of a person citing self defense, leaving the standards vague and open to various different interpretations. At the same time, in a separate case, this same judicial body has allowed the mindset of a convicted rapist to be taken into account in his defense, and they have overturned that guy's conviction.
So it's on to the federal Supreme Court. I'm not just fighting for my rights, I'm fighting for everyone's rights. Not just as it relates to the 2nd Amendment, firearms usage, and self defense, not just as it relates to the 1st Amendment, but also as it relates to due process, as there were were a myriad of due process violations and prosecutorial misconduct that were committed against me.
