On May 11th, 2021, three moms attempted to attend a school board meeting in Washougal, Washington, to voice their concerns about mask mandates and racist policies that the board was considering. Despite two of the moms obeying the mask mandate, the school board decided their presence was a "disruption" and they kicked the moms out, eventually trespassing them from the property. Two weeks later, a rally was held in support of the moms.
