In "On the Road with Riley," trumpeter Riley Mulherkar takes you on a virtual road trip to see how various jazz scenes around the U.S. are coping. Episode 7 finds Riley headed to Portland, Oregon to connect with pianist, composer, and educator Darrell Grant. The two catch up and discuss the importance of teaching anti-racism & advocacy in the arts before playing Darrell’s original tune, “Waltz for Dad.”
