Tim rounds off our January event with a talk about how video games are fundamentally different to other forms of art - they can literally not work. A picture can be bad, but it can't crash. We get to see a picture painted in one minute and a game created in the same length of time. Tim also explores how different types of bugs break your immersion in the game world and how some bugs can eventually become important parts of the games they're in, leading to "it's not a bug, it's a feature"-type stuff.

VideoBrains is a free monthly conference where video games developers, journalists and players give talks and answer questions. We’ve had fantastic talks on everything from indie marketing to the Slender Man to a behind-the-scenes look at Deus Ex.
