The Ikarus 256 was an intercity bus, produced by Ikarus between 1977 and 1998.
The 256.44 subtype was produced between 1993 and 1997. Two windows between its first and second door and the plate front bumper distinguishes the vehicle from the other types.

The buses in this pack are available with three engines.
- Rába D10 UTSLL 160 Euro 1 / 217 HP / 10350 ccm
- Rába D10 UTSLL 190 Euro 1 / 258 HP / 10350 ccm
- Detroit Diesel Series 50 Euro 2 / 300 HP / 8490 ccm
and a ZF S6-120U manual gearbox.
