What if "Sugar Star Planetarium" from OMORI was an ambient synth rock banger? idk, hope you like it tho! :D

I originally started playing OMORI about a year ago, but I ended up taking a bit of a hiatus only a few hours in. I got back into it this July/August and proceeding to enjoy it a lot, it was very nice. I cried a lot lmao
But ye, when I was looking for keys toward the end of the game, I stumbled upon Otherworld again and just kinda froze in place when I heard this track again. Something about it just hit really hard and compelled me to try transcribing/covering it.
To be honest, most video game covers I start get scrapped. It's not something I'm particularly good at and I'm usually not creative enough to make a cover fun or good. But sometimes, it actually works out and I end up with something like this. I'm really proud of this cover, I think.
A lot of it is a little too similar to the original tbh, but the last section is really nice. Hope you like it, it took me over a month to finish it all lmao.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this. The cover will be on streaming services soon (hopefully), and I actually drew the album art myself (in Affinity Photo)! I'm really happy with how that turned out, I don't really consider myself that much of a visual artist lol. I used some of the assets in the video and I think it adds a nice touch!

*SYNTHS*
Most synths are from Xpand!2, EXS24, ES2, Alchemy, and OB-xd.
Those spacey sounding synths at the end were pretty much all OB-xd I think. I really recommend the plugin: it's free and has a lot of cool presets!
*DRUMS*
Logic's EXS24 (Indie Kit patch) for the ballad section.
GGD Modern and Massive for the heavy section.
*GUITARS*
Archetype: Nolly
For the heavy section, I used the Dr. Octave pedal in Logic's Pedalboard plugin. Sounds pretty cool.
*BASS GUITAR*
Logic's Bass amp designer for the fingerstyle part in the ballad section.
Logic's Pedalboard plugin (Comp → Split → Candy fuzz / dry) into Plugin Alliance Ampeg SVTVR
*EXTRAS*
I also added in some sounds from a few retro games!

![Pokemon (DPP) - Battle!! - Cover [VGMC]
Now this is going to require some explanation. So this week Ive been hard at work on my album and I havent had the time to work on a new remix. Because of this, I chose this remix that I made a while back. In addition, I had to go out of town on Thursday meaning I had to upload it then.. Meaning I didnt have the time to make it look good.. I wanted footage, but instead I had to go with my piano background.
