I made this for Andrew Baena's Reverb contest, in which you had to make a riff using random dice rolls. Check out the other video I put out where I explained how I made it: youtu.be/xMRZ1A323tU
The main "breakdown riff" followed Andrew's rules, the synth section used randomly generated time signatures and the thumping section involved randomly generated note groupings. Some liberties were taken in the process, but I based everything on the "dice rolls" I made... I don't have any dice, so I had to use a simple program I made in python to give me random numbers.

Ive always wanted to cover this song so I started working on it today and also happened to finish it somehow. (I really dont know how I keep making covers really quickly) There isnt too much special with this cover, but I think there is a lot of power behind these chords when I play them with so many different samples, lol. This song kind of fits with the theme of it about to be a new year thats why I chose it. Anyways, happy New Year!! Im hoping 2017 will be even better than 2016! :D
