James Bond is giving up the 007 designation as actress Lashana Lynch takes up the "007 mantle" in the new James Bond film. Lynch, who previously starred in Captain Marvel, is playing a "strong black female spy" who is possibly immune to the charms of James Bond, and is DEFINITELY not the new "Bond Girl."
