Just been taking clips as I or my teammates score goals. No particularly rhyme or reason to the vid, just want it on Youtube so I dont have to keep the files local forever. The last match is a fight for my life. Was season 1 and I won so many times in a row they threw me at the Pro League players.
Omega Strikers is fantastic. Rewards good timing, colourful cast of characters with cool backstories, a sport that builds up the hype as the rounds go on. It's great. It's everything I wish a real sport was, because they're boring to observe. Air Hockey plus Robot Wars.
X is the best thing since french toast. It's not lost on my that he English voice actor is frigging Egoraptor. I've always been a fan of the pompadour, but X's actual demeanor and backstory make it great. I knew I had to play this guy the moment I saw him. Something about landing style plays with him feels great because it's so direct, visceral. X doesn't have ranged components. He isn't going to trick teleport on you. If he pulls a sneaky, it's all mind games. Reading your opponent and sliding the puck past them so smoothly it's like they aren't even there. Or full force charge! More than anything I love how X takes the game back to its absolute, simply left-click-strike roots. He is fantastic to play if you want to learn fundamental puck control and self-passing.
Beating someone with X feels like Zuko beating General Zhao in their first fight. No fancy crap. Stick to your roots, beat em with that. It's like X says. Sometimes, you just gotta punch it in.
