The E1 is tragic. I will list plenty of reasons why in the video. The lack of wide lenses. The overpriced components even though the heart of the system was not really that overpriced. And then there were some mistakes made in the design of the format too. It's tragic because this affected the market in what I believe was a negative way and made other manufacturers hesitate to move into the digital space. Not to mention the Four Thirds system was an open one that was truly democratic. Sadly that was lost too and though the MFT system is an open one its not in any way really democratic in the way companies prevent camera features from being used across lenses and camera brands.
