A Month of Magnificence - June 14th, 1911

114 years ago today, Olympic departed Southampton on her Maiden Voyage to New York! Carrying over 1300 passengers and over 800 crew, she would cross the channel to Cherbourg, France, to embark additional passengers and cargo.

Olympic would reunite with the brand new tender ships, Nomadic and Traffic, before weighing anchor and embarking for her final port of call at Queenstown, before embarking for New York.
