This song was originally released only in Spain - then several countries across South America. Oliver toured in Spain in May of 1970, and while there, provided the award for the lucky winner of "Win a date with Oliver Contest". The winner enjoyed a gourmet dinner with the young singer Oliver along with several photographers, reporters, and music industry heads. A wonderful night was had by all.
He was a true renaissance man excelling in virtually every way. He was a loving humanitarian and the kindest, most humble man I’ve ever met. If I could do more to spread his beautiful music, character, and kindness, I would. This channel and his Facebook page reflect my sincere hope that through these efforts, his memory lives on, as it does in my heart. I’m forever grateful for his friendship, his faithful heart, his music, and his enduring love. 💙
