Oliver live in concert 1971 singing "Bluesette" in this recently uncovered recording - NEVER BEFORE HEARD.
This song was one he performed at a New Years Eve concert at the Copa Cabana in New York along with the music group "World's Greatest Jazz Band". They also performed it in on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1970. Great singing - great lyrics and incredible jazzy acoustic riffs.. Just listen!
He was a true renaissance man excelling in virtually every way. He was a loving humanitarian and the kindest, most humble man I’ve ever met. If I could do more to spread his beautiful music, character, and kindness, I would. This channel and his Facebook page reflect my sincere hope that through these efforts, his memory lives on, as it does in my heart. I’m forever grateful for his friendship, his faithful heart, his music, and his enduring love. 💙
