Maybe the real Romancing SaGa were the friends we made along the way.

If you want to get into SaGa, Minstrel Song is released in English on the PS2, and there's a fantranslation of the original SNES release out. Romancing SaGa 2 has a good mobile port that got localized. Romancing SaGa 3's translated. SaGa Frontier 1 and 2 were both released in English.

Also, since making this video, it appears that Romancing SaGa 2 has made its way to modern consoles and PC!

If you want to try the original SaGa, it's officially released as Final Fantasy Legend on the GameBoy. There's a fantranslation for the better Wonderswan remake floating around online as well.
