I had a chance to go to Galveston, Texas to see what the Old Smokey Throwdown is like. It is sponsored by the Albatross Bar. I interviewed every team that was willing to talk to me. Most did a few said no. I also interview the owner of the Albatross bar, and three onsite vendors, one sells bamboo charcoal, another has a seasoning line, and the other makes high quality grill covers for Old Smokey and other grills. I had over an hour and a half of video of this all day event. I cut it down to a brief 37¼ minutes.
