Since this guide has been made a lever in Edgeville has been added to OSRS - so you can use this lever instead of the Ardy one to teleport to level 50ish wilderness if you please :)
As of 24 March 2016, you can now obtain multiple copies of your chosen god cape. Simply pray at a statue in the Mage Arena and take as many capes as you please. Note that it is still not possible to get different god capes at the same time, just multiple of one type. Requirements:
- 60+ Magic
- Runes for combat spells
- Knife/slashing weapon (for spider webs)

Reccomended:
- 37+ Prayer
- Sharks (if you are not 37+ prayer)
- Prayer potion OR defence/super defence potion and food (lobbys or better)
- Magic/prayer boosting robes
- Around 100 fire blast spells

Rewards:
- god cape (one of the best capes in old school rs, best magic cape in old school rs)
- god staff
- access to god spells (powerful spells, especially for pvp) after you have cast them 100 times within the Mage Arena

In answer to some questions in the comments section: yes you can use ancients to kill the bosses. However, keep in mind you will need to come back to the Mage Arena on the standard spellbook if you wish to unlock the god spells later on!
