Has some important information that many players don't currently know and will also explain some modifications to the armoury in my PVM Pro video series! I was very suprised to find this out and it makes things much more complicated once you get into the 'nitty-gritty' mathematical side of it!

The gear you wear will always depend on the situation your going into, but if I were to go to nex in pernix or torva or virtus I would definitely use barrows gloves and dragon rider boots instead of glavian/torva/dominion tower etc. because the all round defense would be more useful given you get attacked with every combat style. But if I was doing slayer or killing a boss that only had one or two attack styles i.e melee and ranged, I would probably use torva boots and gloves, keep in mind that it depends alot on your total armour rating as to how much defense is offered by the armour/equipment you wear.

This won't apply so much to players that use any armour requiring less than 70 defense to weild as the total defense offered by the items will not be as substantial given armour less than 70 defense has a significantly lower total armour rating when equipped.

E.G I wouldn't use dragon rider boots with void melee as it has such a low total armour rating that the defense offered by the boots would be significantly less than anything offered by higher tier specific armour type boots such as ganodermic boots or any of the boots dropped by glacors.
