This clip comes from two film cassettes showing a Max Linder comedy film of around 1920. Max visits a bullfight and gets the idea that he may be a great bullfighetr himself and practises with his servant. He even dreams taking part in a bullfight as torero. The film had one frame titles, which didn't add much to the show.
These 9,5mm films were meant for home-showing and arroused great delight. My father had one and took with his camera pictures of us in 1938.
