This is a pretty weird trick. You can get OoB in this particular spot in the Sunken Ship by clipping the camera through the floor, then using Sunrise to raise the water. Somewhat surprisingly, the game prioritizes keeping Ammy above water over keeping her under the ceiling, and so she clips.
From there, you can use Water Lily to navigate around the ship OoB, then make it to a spot directly under the Lucky Mallet room. It's just barely possible to clip into the room using an air tackle bounce.
Unfortunately, despite being able to get the Lucky Mallet, you cannot actually complete the Sunken Ship without Rao, as you need her to break the last cursed door to escape.
If you clip into the room without Rao, you're softlocked. You can clip the camera through the floor here as well, but raising and lowering the water won't affect the situation. There are also no brush warps in Sunken Ship afaik.
This strat (except with Rao so you can actually escape) is probably worthwhile in NG All Brushes, as it saves about 10-20s over completing the Sunken Ship using the existing Mega Auto-Jump strat (youtu.be/KKcyURIAb04?t=4969). It could possibly be useful in Top Dog as well, but I'm not sure. For now I would stick with the strat I posted earlier (youtu.be/q49KCS8SDDM).
Keep in mind that it's the exact collision of the water here is not very obvious. There are many holes and edges where you can easily fall into the void. If this happens, you'll spawn by the gold gate near the room where you fight the crabs and shark, wasting a huge amount of time. If you want to do this strat, make sure to practice it a LOT.
I should also mention that, after the initial clip, you can go left instead of right, then use Crescent to lower the water. Go under the pathway where the ghost of the Spider Queen appears, then use Sunrise to raise the water again. From there you can get into the same position as shown in this video to jump into the Lucky Mallet room. I'm not sure if this is faster, but I doubt it, since you have to watch the water-level cutscene twice.
