Alongside Ari, Princess Marlene presents to Mother the Moonbeam Grass. She tells Mother that she is so grateful for treating her so kindly, and does not mind that Mother does not adress her royaly. Mother thanks Princess Marlene for the gift and explains that before her and her parents moved, they had a doll that looked nearly identical, if not an exact image of Princess Marlene in their basement. However, upon moving, the doll was lost, and Ari's mother cried very much.
Outside, after leaving once again, Ari presents to Princess Marlene the music box, showing his feelings for her. Princess Marlene accepts it, trying not to show too much emotion, and the group sets off once again, to vanquish Evil Kings.
