Ari and friends finally defeat Beiloune. With his power depleted, the power of classification disappears and the world becomes whole again. Beiloune walks off to search for Marlene in the wide open world. As he leaves, the World Library crumbles and Ari and friends barely make it out. As the sun sets, Stan and James leave to pursue world domination. Rosalyn soon chases after them, realizing Stan didn't fix her shadow. Epros and Linda leave together, Kisling leaves to study something about neurodynamics and craniums and Big Bull leaves to make a macho men army. As Ari heads home, Epros and Linda are shown performing magic tricks.
Over in Triste, the people of Triste, no longer classified as being overshadowed, are visible again. A young girl is shown leaving the city, as well as K.T. Ari finally arrives home and sees that a festival is going on in Tenel. His father tells him that lunch is ready and on his way home Annie informs him that he has a guest. Ari rushes up to his house and finds his mother standing with Marlene. Ari's mother promises to teach Marlene to cook and her and Ari walk inside, hand in hand.
