In 2017, I went down to overhaul the entire drive clock and oil burner system of the First Order Fresnel lens in the Elbow Reef light station. The time has come again for the oil valves to be re-done and I have been entrusted with the work.
Here I quickly cover making a stem nut for a valve that came with it missing, the (very) old fashioned way.
