This video can be used to collect data for a lab investigation which looks at the relationship between the potential difference (voltage) across different circuit elements and the current through that circuit element. A power supply is used to change the voltage across a simple circuit, the potential difference is measured across each circuit element, and the current is measured through each circuit element. This process is repeated for 6 - 10 different potential differences and currents so the graphical and mathematical relationship between the two variables can be determined. The first link below is an introduction to the lab which should be watched before using this and other videos for data collection.

Ohm’s Law Lab (Data Set #3) Resistor B: youtu.be/ah4k5r2Y98g
Ohm’s Law Lab (Data Set #4) “Round” Light Bulb: youtu.be/NK6sICoRWME
Ohm’s Law Lab (Data Set #5) Resistor C: youtu.be/nI1uM5v_x_4
Ohm’s Law Lab (Data Set #6) Wire ONLY: youtu.be/PRUIFFdsGDQ

Teacher Note: The lightbulbs will not be “ohmic”. The data will show a non-linear relationship between the potential difference across the light bulb and the current through that light bulb.
