This video discusses how to draw charge diagrams for charging by friction, charging by conduction, grounding, polarized insulators and conductors, and charging by induction. I show how to make charge diagrams showing all the positive and negative charges and showing just the net charge.

Next, I demonstrate that metal has a stronger attraction to the charged object than the neutral paper. In the end, I use a simplified way of drawing the electric charges in the objects to explain why neutral objects are attracted to both positively and negatively charged objects and why there is a stronger attraction with metal.
