This is one in a set of 4 videos which can be used to introduce the concept of momentum. In the event of a two-object, linear explosion, the videos can be used to determine the relationship between the ratio of the objects' masses (mass of the red car / mass of the blue car) to the ratio of the objects' resulting velocities (red velocity / blue velocity) after the “explosion”.
