Drive America’s Highways for 6 miles west along Ohio Route 835 from Beavercreek to Riverside, Ohio — following an unusual urban state route through the eastern Dayton suburbs.
Travel west along Ohio Route 835 for approximately 6.6 miles from North Fairfield Road in Beavercreek to U.S. Route 35 in Riverside. Despite its relatively short length, OH-835 follows a surprisingly varied path through Greene and Montgomery counties, connecting the busy suburban areas of Beavercreek with Kettering, Dayton, Riverside, and the broader eastern side of the Dayton metropolitan area. The highway begins near the North Fairfield Road interchange with U.S. 35, then works its way west through a mixture of suburban development, office and research areas, residential neighborhoods, and some of the region’s major transportation corridors.
From North Fairfield Road, OH-835 initially runs near and roughly parallel to U.S. 35 before curving north and west through Beavercreek. The route crosses over U.S. 35 and continues toward Interstate 675, although there is no direct interchange between OH-835 and I-675. West of the interstate, the highway follows Research Boulevard through an area shaped by the nearby defense, technology, research, and employment centers of the Dayton region. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base lies to the north, while office parks and other employment-oriented development reflect the base’s broader influence on the economy of eastern Montgomery and western Greene counties.
Continuing west, Route 835 reaches County Line Road and crosses from Greene County into Montgomery County. Rather than immediately entering Riverside, however, the route continues through a portion of Kettering along Research Boulevard. The highway then reaches the intersection of Research Boulevard, Patterson Road, and Woodman Drive, where OH-835 turns north onto Woodman Drive. This part of the route becomes increasingly urban, with established neighborhoods, businesses, apartments, signalized intersections, and closely spaced local streets replacing the broader suburban development found around Beavercreek.
As OH-835 continues north along Woodman Drive, it briefly passes through Dayton before entering Riverside. Woodman Drive serves as one of the important north-south surface roads on the eastern side of the metropolitan area, carrying a mix of local and regional traffic between neighborhoods, commercial areas, U.S. 35, and communities farther north. The route eventually reaches its western terminus at the interchange with U.S. Route 35 in Riverside, bringing us back to the same federal highway near which the drive began.
At approximately 6.6 miles from end to end, Ohio Route 835 is a compact highway that functions primarily as a local connector rather than a long-distance route. This westbound drive provides a street-level counterpart to nearby U.S. 35, showing the neighborhoods, employment districts, and commercial corridors that the freeway largely bypasses while linking Beavercreek, Kettering, Dayton, and Riverside with the broader Dayton highway network.

U.S. Route 70 Business in Hot Springs provides travelers with a direct path through the heart of the city, connecting the mainline U.S. 70 on both the east and west ends. The drive begins at the eastern junction with U.S. 70 just outside the downtown district and quickly enters Hot Springs’ commercial core. Along this stretch, the route is better known as Grand Avenue, carrying local traffic past neighborhoods, small businesses, and connections to several city streets that provide easy access to Hot Springs National Park and the surrounding attractions.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 31 miles east along Interstate 30 from Arlington to Garland, Texas — a busy urban corridor through the heart of Dallas–Fort Worth.
The drive along Interstate 30 between Arlington and Garland begins near Ballpark Way, just west of the interchange with State Highway 360 in Arlington. Heading east, the route quickly leaves Arlington behind and enters Grand Prairie, a bustling suburban community. Here, the highway crosses the President George Bush Turnpike before stretching toward the western edge of Dallas. Entering the city, the road meets the interchange with Loop 12 before slowing through heavy traffic approaching the Trinity River.
Crossing the Margaret McDermott Bridge over the Trinity, the highway provides a sweeping view of downtown Dallas before curving south of the central business district. Along this stretch, travelers pass under Interstate 35E and circle around to connect with both Interstate 45 and U.S. Route 75. From here, Interstate 30 continues eastward toward Mesquite, where it shares an interchange with U.S. Route 80 and again with Loop 12.
Turning northeast, the route crosses the interchange with Interstate 635 before leaving Dallas city limits and entering Garland. Just beyond the eastern connection with the President George Bush Turnpike, the highway runs alongside the western shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. This segment concludes at Bass Pro Drive, a popular stop for travelers before crossing the lake toward Rockwall.

The video begins at the intersection of U.S. Route 79 and Tennessee Secondary Route 461 in Dover. Traveling generally north for approximately three miles, the road enters the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area and becomes the Woodlands Trace Parkway, or The Trace. Travelling generally north through the entirety of the Land Between the Lakes, The Trace enters Kentucky near the Cedar Pond Picnic Area.
Entering Kentucky, the parkway meanders up the peninsula to Golden Pond, where it intersects U.S. Route 68 at a controlled access interchange. Continuing north, the Woodlands Trace Parkway makes its way through the park, turning onto a more northwesterly course near Woodson Chapel Rd. Now heading northwest, the highway passes, the Star Camp Picnic Area and the Hillman Ferry Campground before leaving the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area at the Barkley Canal.
On the north side of Barkley Canal, the parkway ends and becomes Kentucky Route 453. The video continues along KY-453 for approximately 3 miles where it ends at the intersection with U.S. Route 62 in Grand Rivers.
