Sandia’s Atmospheric Sciences team performs research with tethered balloon system at DOE’S Atmospheric Radiation Monitoring (ARM) Advance Mobile Facility 3 (AMF3) site in Oliktok Point, Alaska, and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico as part of a capabilities effort. Sandia operates the AMF3 facility on behalf of ARM.
