Best phase 1 I've ever seen in my life counterbalanced by the most spaghetti phase 2, although I suppose that goes to show how damn easy that phase is when you can just slap Hang Tough on everyone.
Restrictions - Mandatory encounters only, no EXP/JP boosting accessories or support skills.
I'm sure anyone actually watching this run only came for Galdera, except I already pulled this exact run a year ago but harder in No Subjobs. The strategy is largely the same, except with subjobs and subjob support skills. Basically unloseable, so I went for a few recordings, hence why this video comes now and not immediately after I recorded the boss rush. No Dohter's or Saving Grace, they're in the top tier of busted tech and not required to break this game wide open anyway.
01:00 Phase 1 - Omniscient Eye: Exhibit A of why Hang Tough is broken. No more Thunderstorm Amulets required, no more Searing Orbs killing people at random prior to Reflective Veil. Prim has an actual BP sink now with Aelfric's, Rehabilitate can stop contaminate RNG, and Ophilia can also summon Vets for more damage. Cyrus also gets a massive boost in damage in the event that the elemental aura is up, as he breaks the damage cap by a massive 6K per hit.
19:31 Phase 2 - Galdera, The Fallen: Exhibit B of why Hang Tough is broken. The Blade ceases to be a priority threat, and this phase becomes basically unloseable if the Maw goes down. Aeber's should significantly speed up the fight by hitting everything for around similar damage to Brand's Thunder. Unfortunately, room temperature IQ gameplay follows the Maw's destruction as I fail around 3 different times to provide Therion with sufficient BP to use Aeber's, making the fight take about twice as long as it needed to.
With that ends the low level runs. Everything besides this boss in the playlist can be considered as proof that I didn't touch any optional battles or use JP/XP boosters.
