I currently have been obsessing over the artist Billie Eilish. She wrote this song when she was 13 and recorded her music video at 14. A lot of people compare her to Lana Del Ray in her sound, but I think she has a talent and creative input that is far beyond most artists, and at such a young age.
Her strong opinion about her own creations and her no BS persona has absolutely won me over as a fellow musician. I decided to pay tribute by creating a cover that is pretty close to her version. I love this song. It’s simple, its gorgeous and its an effective story about unrequited love. I am 100% behind you Billie. Keep making your ground breaking sounds because they are what we need to hear. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
