A short sampling of what went on at Occupy Atlanta in Woodruff Park, downtown Atlanta, on the evening of Friday, October 7, 2011. It was mostly spent covering procedural issues like this. If this protest movement is ever to catch on, it's going to need a clear message and a laser-like focus on one or two easily articulated objectives. So far, while I agree conceptually with what I think they stand for, I don't believe they've yet found a concise and effective way to communicate their goals. I do think such a message will arise from this movement, but it hasn't quite crystalized yet.
