I wanted to do a more original cover this last week, not in the sense that a metal cover of the Song of Storms is original(ha), but in the sense that I would make it more my own, add more to it than just a more traditional "straight" cover.
I feel like its easier to be more original with more popular songs/games because they've been covered so much, you kinda have to because no one wants to hear something so popular done the same way its been done before. Along with that, I feel its harder to do more obscure songs/game covers more creatively/originally because no one knows the songs and I want to do them justice/stay true to how they originally sound.
Long story short, a heavy version of the Song of Storms popped in my head the other week so I did a cover of it.
