If sediment layers were deposited by repeated rising and falling water levels over millions of years, what we we expect to see? Layers of sediment showings signs of millions of years of erosion and soil build-up between the layers.
If a global flood happened, what would we expect to see? Huge sediment layers showing no signs of soil or erosion between layers. That is exactly what we see. The evidence points to a global flood.
