My Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered/Remake Review (PC/PS5/Xbox Series X) & Rant about how remasters like Oblivion demonstrated how creatively bankrupt the modern video game industry is.
TLDR: The Oblivion Remaster is amazing so far and you should definitely check it out. It is literally the original 2007 game with a fresh coat of paint on top which for better or for worse dramatically alters the visuals of the game while maintaining the exact same gameplay experience the original had all those years ago. For Anyone wondering if "the Oblivion Remaster Sucks", "the Oblivion Remaster is bad", "the Oblivion Remaster is Trash", or if "the Oblivion Remaster is worse than the original" can rest easy knowing that this is for the most part an extremely faithful remaster/remake of the original game and turned out really well. All the original gameplay, voice acting, and music is there for you to take a trip down memory lane and for new comers to Oblivion, this is an amazing way to experience the game for the first time.
