At the Game Awards 2024, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet a new IP from PlayStation's Naughty Do & Neil Druckman for PS5 and PS5 Pro was revealed in a trailer and the reaction is exactly what you would expect. This is the first new IP from Naughty Dog in over a decade since they have been solely concerned in milking The Last of Us to death. The game takes place in a retro sci-fi universe where you play as an obviously gender ambiguous female character in true Neil Druckman fashion. Not only does the game look incredibly bad from that perspective but it looks awfully similar to Sony's previously FAILED Guardians of the Galaxy ripoff, Concord. Needless to say the trailer is getting mass dislike and Naughty Dog preemptively disabled comments on the trailer on their official YouTube channel to hide from critics. This is the Lat of Us 2 scenario on steroids.
