The stairway to heaven, aka Haiku Stairs, is probably the most well known hike on the island on Oahu, but it's been illegal for some time. Rather than risking fines and trouble, I went up the south side via the Moanalua Ridge trail, which will bring you up to the structure at the top of the stairs where you can look to the north side of Oahu. This was an awesome hike with great views!
