‘O God, that I were a man! I would eat his heart in the marketplace.’

It’s the wedding day of young lovers Claudio and Hero. But before they say ‘I do’, Claudio vehemently – and falsely – accuses Hero of infidelity and leaves her at the altar. Hero’s cousin, Beatrice (Amalia Vitale), appalled by her cousin’s treatment, is furious that she cannot bring justice on Hero’s accusers.

Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes’s ‘irresistible’ ★★★★★ (WhatsOnStage) production is a ‘sparkling, sun-drenched spectacle’ ★★★★ (Time Out) in the Globe Theatre.

Much Ado About Nothing plays until 24 August, as part of our Summer 2024 season: bit.ly/MuchAdoAboutNothing2024
