Shakespeares Globe | 'If I be waspish...' | The Taming of the Shrew | Summer 2024 | Shakespeare's Globe @ShakespearesGlobe | Uploaded July 2024 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
'Come, come, you wasp; i' faith, you are too angry.'

After deciding to take on the challenge of convincing Baptista's eldest daughter to marry him, Petruchio sets about to woo the "shrewish" Katharina by any means necessary. But Katharina isn't afraid to show her sting...

Shakespeare’s cutting comedy, directed by Jude Christian, takes over the Globe Theatre this summer, in a 'Riotously entertaining’ (London Theatre) new production that is like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

The Taming of the Shrew plays in the Globe Theatre until 26 October 2024 as part of our Summer 2024 season: bit.ly/TheTamingOfTheShrew2024
