After a weekend of excursion trips out of Roanoke, N&W 611 and its magnificent matched trainset leaves Roanoke for the next weekend's excursions in Richmond. We had hoped to follow the train all the way there, but it was too fast. This was a non-revenue trip, and not limited to 35mph. They were flying.
