In this AU Nuka met Rain and her herd when he was a cub, he liked Rain from the first sight. He liked the way horses lived, running free through the valleys, without hunting or training.
Nuka was secretly dreaming about joining the herd, but how could he, a predator, most horses saw him as a threat. Young Rain didn't, they often played together, when Rain grew older she started seeing danger in Nuka too, afraid of what lions can do with her.
Nuka wasn't understood by Zira and her pride, even by his siblings. He tried to show Rain he can be trusted but she slowly stopped visiting.
Nuka's life without her grew so dark, he got completely lost in Zira's revenge plans, training, search for food when he avoided hunting horses.
He was remembering Rain, all bright memories and dreams of her, how he always doubted their future, still wishing to give her everything,
One day Rain suddenly came back, gladly looking at Nuka. She decided to give this love another chance despite everything and she was truly glad to meet Nuka again.
