Last month's Heroic Age Expedition, led by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and WHOI aboard Atlantis, brought researchers and advanced imaging technology to survey two long-lost polar research ships in the Labrador Sea.
Alvin and Atlantis are owned by the Office of Naval Research and operated by WHOI with support from the National Science Foundation
