Some folks were rather interested in the contents of the notes you find around the island so this shows what they say if you're interested in background information and deep lore for The Island of Doctor Morose.

Phillip's journal entries are organized in the game by month instead of chronologically but to follow along better I opted to sort chronologically.

This doesn't show where they are, although the playthrough I uploaded does have the more troublesome ones timestamped in it.
