I don't fully understand how this works and haven't managed to replicate it, but here's what I think happened: Using Blocks or Blocks+ can give you a small bump. This can happen anywhere, whether you're moving or not. This bump seems to be increased if you are being pushed by a red sliding wall, and very occasionally zips you through stuff.
