STOL training with Former Thunderbird F16 pilot Trevor "Dozen" Aldridge at Byrd's Adventure Center in Arkansas! It’s amazing how slow you’ve got to be, or the airplane will keep floating in the round out.
Trevor is flying the Super Patriot mk I while I was solo in the new mk II.
Huge thanks to Patriot Aircraft for hosting us - I had my family on this trip and we stayed at a cabin that I was able to taxi the plane right up to!

(Spoiler alert: I could have been slower almost the whole time :)
The Super Patriot features an EarthX lithium Battery (which I also run in the RV-14)
The mk II airplane is equipped with a full Garmin Aviation panel and autopilot, and when I took this thing cross country, I had my portable GDL-52 with me for SiriusXM Aviation data, so again, it felt very familiar to the RV-14!
