Cloud Surfing (legally :) is one of my absolute favourite things in aviation to share!
We filed #IFR to a Hope Air event where Cory donated the performance and I donated the flight to get him there! (learn more below).
I was a little stressed out for part of the first leg before a friendly controller was helpful; This episode shares THAT, and a whole bunch of not too shabby single pilot IFR workflow - but I'm open to feedback and any suggestions of what I can do better.
I'm proud to be working with SiriusXM Aviation, and will be hosting a Webinar about how I use their weather on ForeFlight on Dec 4th.
Regardless of what I'm flying, SiriusXM Aviation Weather data is onboard.

For many Canadians facing serious health issues, getting the care they need isn’t as easy as you’d expect. Vital medical appointments and treatments are often far from home. How do patients get there in a timely way? How do they afford the travel costs? These are things that those suffering from an illness shouldn’t have to worry about when they’re trying to focus on their health.
At Hope Air, we believe that all Canadians should have access to the healthcare they need, regardless of where you live or if you can’t afford to travel. Which is why we’re committed to easing the stress of getting there by providing families, from coast to coast, with free flights and accommodations.
They engage a lot of general aviation pilots in their work across the country, and that's how I came to be involved.

FLIGHT CHOPS DISCLAIMER:
I am a "weekend warrior" private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 20 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience - I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve.... Having GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share. Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.
