Nostalgia used to feel personal: it was about the things we grew up with, the stories that stuck with us, the characters we loved, and only SOMETIMES, it was a little bit of key jangling.
Now? Now it feels like something else entirely.
Somewhere along the way, nostalgia stopped being about memories… and started being a strategy to free us from our money and free Hollywood "creatives" from having to make anything original.
