We Norwegians have a deep and sincere connection with the wood. It´s the core of our culture. Even today. You could say we are wood nerds. Or simply passionate, like the Italians and Spanish with their cheese and wine.
Join us for a hilarious and self-deprecating expedition into the depths of the Norwegian people's soul. Through Norwegian wood, trees, logs, woodsheds, wood stoves and fireplaces, we explain Norway and Norwegians. We will look at our social structures, traditions, hobbies, well-being, romance, laziness, wealth and modernity.
By comparing Norwegian Wood with wine and cheese – Ronald tells the story of the treasury, the holiest room for Norwegians; shed. Here you get to meet the finest and most exclusive logs Norwegians can offer. As in the most expensive wine and cheese cellars, you get a taste of Norway, you get to smell the smell of Norway. Yes, you almost get to sleep with Norway in this sarcastic video.
The team has set off into beautiful Norwegian winter forest. There is light snowfall. A few birds chirp. The snow is cracking. Mads snorts and swears. He does not like the snow and wants to go home. He thinks what Ronald says is boring and of course cannot help but spit out jokes and dark comments. Ronald is overwhelmed with excitement and thinks the Norwegian forest and wood are fantastic.

*** ABOUT YOURWAY2NORWAY ***
YOURWAY2NORWAY is a different travel channel. We combine education with humor and entertainment. It’s an authentic inside guide to real life in Norway. We highlight small and large themes, cultural characteristics and Norwegian phenomena. All the stuff you won’t find in a tourist brochure.
The content is perfect for people who travel to Norway as tourists, visit friends and family in Norway, study in Norway or work in Norway. It is ideal for anyone with Norwegian roots and DNA. It is also interesting for anyone who wants to learn more about other cultures and people. And for all of you looking for some smile and laughter.
The guys behind are; Ronald Sagatun – a enthusiastic and sarcastic Sami Latino with a Norwegian passport. Throughout his life he has tried to find out what it means to be Norwegian. Now he shares his hilarious experiences. Mads is a grumpy Norwegian dude, providing the channel authenticity and the typical Norwegian way of viewing the world. We always try to be funny, self-deprecating, human and, when it´s necessary; sincere and passionate.
Filming in a dark winterland in -14 degrees Celsius made forced us to shoot with our mobile. Bear over with loss of quality – what we could achieve in those conditions :)
